‘An energy drink for your eyes’: I tried the Grace & Stella eye masks that are all over the internet

As someone who is practically nocturnal at this point, often going to sleep in the early hours of the morning when I can hear the birds tweeting outside of my window, the best under-eye masks have become a staple in my self-care routine. I'm not someone who tends to get dark circles, but my eyes can often become puffy, dry and irritated with lack of sleep. Lucky me.

Eager to put the eye masks to the test, I started with freshly cleansed skin and got to work. First, I tested the Energizing Gold Eye Masks to see if they were just as good as reviewers say. With thousands of comments praising their soothing effects, I had an inkling that I was in for a treat.

First impressions? We were off to a good start. I immediately felt the cooling, refreshing effects against my under-eyes and I'd have to say they're the best under-eye mask that I've tried so far. I imagine these would be a lifesaver after a sleepless night because my eyes felt instantly invigorated.

My eyes are really sensitive, so I always have to be careful with what I put around that area. However, I didn't feel any irritation wearing them - and I was actually reluctant to take them off because of how fresh they made my under-eyes feel. Are they an energy drink for your eyes? Next up, I tried the Moisturizing Pink Eye Masks. I instantly noticed that these were packed full of product, even more so than any of the others in the range. They definitely quenched the thirst of my dry skin with their soothing, jelly-like consistency that I imagine would feel incredible straight out of the fridge.

Finally, I tried the Illuminating Blue Eye Masks, which I feel would be particularly effective for those with dark circles. I didn't feel the immediate effect as much as the other eye masks, as the others seemed to contain more of the serum. Having said that, they still worked to soothe and calm my dry under-eyes much like the rest of the range.

All in all, I'd say the Grace & Stella eye masks truly are a staple in your self-care routine if you're looking for a weekend reset. Especially if you tend to get dark circles or dry, irritated under-eyes like myself. My under-eyes felt instantly refreshed and any puffiness was a long distant memory.

My favourite eye masks have to be the Energizing Eye Masks or Moisturizing Pink Eye Masks as I feel like these targeted my under-eye concerns the most.
