Love Island couple Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury have been giving their relationship a second shot – even celebrating her 26th birthday with a family trip to Disneyland Paris last month.
But sources can reveal to Closer that the couple are now ‘feeling torn’ over their wedding plans.
‘On the one hand, Molly-Mae and Tommy are very loved up and feeling very ready to take that big step into marriage to commit to a future of forever,’ the insider says.
‘They both feel a strong sense to protect the love and their family with the legality of marriage. They think that having those ties will give them the sense of security they both desire.’

But the insider continues, ‘At the same time, they are aware of the risks of putting too much pressure on the relationship right now. When they were planning the wedding before their split, Molly-Mae and Tommy were under a lot of strain to set a date and make a plan. It felt as if it was no longer about them – it became about their “brand”. Tommy felt so lost in it all, at a time when he was already struggling. Hearing him say that was a really big breakthrough moment for Molly-Mae, because she knew he was right.'
Molly-Mae and Tommy, also 26, finished as runners-up on the fifth series of Love Island in 2019. Their relationship went from strength to strength, and the golden couple eventually welcomed daughter Bambi in January 2023, with Tommy popping the question six months later.

Fans were shocked when the couple briefly split in August last year, but after prolonged speculation that they had reunited, Molly-Mae officially confirmed their reconciliation last month.
While discussing their separation with her sister Zoe in the first part of her documentary, Molly-Mae: Behind It All, the businesswoman voiced her desire for more children, saying, ‘All I want in this life is to be with [Tommy], and to have another baby with him, and to grow old as a family. And to live in a nice house together and have a nice life together. That’s all I want.’
And in the second segment of the documentary, she said that the ‘dream is still the same’.
Likewise, Tommy has also always wanted more children, telling Men’s Health in January, ‘I always said when I have kids, if they grow up and I’ve been a great father, that’s my life complete. Bambi and future kids, their life comes before mine.’
Now, insiders say that when the time comes, the couple are considering a smaller wedding ceremony than originally planned – and it wouldn’t be a surprise if Molly-Mae is pregnant with their second child when she walks down the aisle.

'Although their immediate families and friendship circles still have their worries, Molly-Mae, Tommy and Bambi are happier than ever,’ the source adds. ‘If they had a very small marriage ceremony, then they don’t need to consider other things like, say, if Molly-Mae were to be pregnant. Whereas with a big wedding, they would have more to think about.’
