The Beckhams’ rumoured family feudappears to be getting more heated, with relations becoming increasingly strained between eldest son Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz and his mum Victoria Beckham.
And, after Closer reported last week that Brooklyn and Nicola have earned themselves new allies in the Sussexes, even spending time at their Montecito mansion, sources reveal matriarch Victoria, 51, has since been in contact with Meghan, warning her to back off.
‘Victoria was already furious when she got wind of Meghan and Harry reaching out to Brooklyn and Nicola to “bond” over their shared family feuding drama, but when she found out they’d hosted them at their home, it pushed her over the edge,’ an insider says.

‘Victoria isn’t an angry person, but this had her fuming and she got in touch with Meghan, despite not having had contact for a while. She tried to remain calm, knowing she wouldn’t achieve anything by leading with her emotions, but that was easier said than done.’
The insider adds, ‘Victoria got straight to the point, asking Meghan to stay out of their family drama. She’s been extremely upset by the whole situation and her biggest fear is that somehow Meghan and Harry could make things between them even worse. She begged Meghan to put herself in her shoes.’
Last week, LA-based Brooklyn and Nicola – who are said to have cut contact with the Beckham family – shunned a reunion with his parents and siblings when they arrived back in London for 24 hours. During their fleeting visit – for a campaign photo shoot with Moncler – the couple stayed at a hotel in Park Lane rather than the Beckhams’ family home in nearby Holland Park, before flying back to the US the following morning.
Rumours of a feud were initially sparked after Nicola and Brooklyn’s wedding in 2022, when the bride’s decision to wear a Valentino dress allegedly caused friction with her fashion designer mother-in-law.

Nicola, 30, previously denied reports of a rift, saying, ‘It’s not a feud! I think it all started because I didn’t end up wearing Victoria’s wedding dress. I thought it was beautiful that Brooklyn’s mum got to make that for me and I was really excited to wear it. And I didn’t end up wearing it.’
They remained close at Vic’s 50th birthday last year, even posing for photos together. The rumoured rift – also thought to have been sparked by Romeo’s new girlfriend Kim Turnbull, whom Brooklyn was once close to – has gathered pace in recent months, as Brooklyn, 26, and Nicola distanced themselves further from the rest of the family.
The Beckhams were last seen with Brooklyn and Nicola last October for the UK launch of their son’s Cloud 23 hot sauce, but they didn’t spend Christmas together.
Brooklyn and Nicola didn’t join the rest of the family to celebrate David’s BOSS campaign nor Victoria’s Paris Fashion Week launch earlier this year, which they had attended in previous years.
But it wasn’t until their conspicuous absence from David’s several 50th birthday celebrations earlier this month, despite being in London for the week of the football manager’s big day, that led many to think relations have become further strained.

Both Victoria and David – who flew to New York recently – have extended olive branches to the young couple. The former Spice Girl shared a photo of their four children – Brooklyn, Romeo, 22, Cruz, 20, and daughter Harper, 13 – for her dad Tony Adams’s 78th birthday, with the message, ‘We both love you all so much!’ And former England footballer David gave shoutouts to all his kids as he reflected on his milestone birthday.
Meanwhile, Brooklyn and Nicola’s unlikely friendship with Harry, 40, and Meghan, 43, is said to have been cemented earlier this month, with an insider previously telling Closer, ‘The Sussexes are looking to really build on this friendship, and all of them see huge potential for it to evolve into a “US Fab Four”.’
While Victoria and David are still close with Prince William and Kate Middleton, they are believed to have severed ties with the Sussexes after Meghan accused the Spice Girl of leaking stories to the press, which she strongly denied.

And now, insiders say the Beckham fallout could cause a huge clash between showbiz royalty and the monarchy.
‘Victoria begged Meghan not to meddle in the situation and if she saw Brooklyn and Nicola again, to try to mediate and explain how desperate they are to reconcile, which Meghan assured her she’d do,’ our insider says. ‘Victoria knows that this is one of those situations where she’ll have to “keep her enemies close” and if that means befriending Meghan again to get her son back, she’s willing to do whatever it takes.’
