The bitter breakdown between the Beckhams and their eldest son has reached a new low after Brooklyn took to his Instagram to tell wife Nicola, ‘I always choose you’.
And as the couple continue to pour fuel on showbiz’s spikiest family feud, Nicola is said to be gathering some A-list allies. Just weeks after forging a friendship with Meghan Markle, insiders now divulge to Closer the women who are rallying around Nicola.
‘Nicola’s rapidly becoming the new Taylor Swift of the showbiz world and her fast-growing posse of A-list friends is certainly giving Vic’s circle a run for its money,’ says an insider.
‘She’s very much becoming the Queen Bee right now amid all this drama – even Gisele Bündchen, who was at Nicola and Brooklyn’s wedding, sent her messages of support. ‘She’s got BFF Selena Gomez by her side through all this, and Nicola has been blown away by the amount of friends who’ve been reaching out, admitting this feud has helped her reconnect with old pals including Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid and Hailey Bieber.’
Our insider continues, ‘Her newest pal Meghan has recently introduced her to Serena Williams, who Nicola clicked with immediately and has been calling and messaging her regularly to check in, knowing first-hand how traumatic a public family fall-out can be.’
Last week, Brooklyn, 26, posted a clip of him and Nicola riding a motorbike on Instagram. ‘My whole world x I will love you forever x I always choose you baby x you’re the most amazing person I know xx me and you forever baby,’ he wrote, which some thought was a pointed dig at his family. Within hours, brother Cruz, 20, shared a photo of parents Victoria and David, 50, with their kids Brooklyn, Romeo, 22, and Harper, 13, writing, ‘I love my family. I love you guys more than anything.’
While there have been rumours of tensions between Nicola, 30, and Victoria, 51, since 2022, the American actress previously denied a feud. But Nicola’s efforts to gather her friends around her is said to be causing friction with Victoria. ‘This is infuriating Vic and she’s beginning to realise how much Nicola seems to be benefiting from all of this with her profile soaring – and with her growing celebrity network following suit,’ says the insider.
