They’re both already mums to five children each, but BFFs Kerry Katona and Katie Price aren’t stopping there – as insiders reveal they’ve made a pact to add to their families.
Kerry shocked fans earlier this month when she confessed her desire for another child, admitting in an Instagram post, ‘I know I’m 44, but I think I want another baby.’ The former Atomic Kitten star – who is mum to Molly, 23, and Lilly-Sue, 22, with ex-husband Brian McFadden, Heidi, 18, and Max, 17, with ex Mark Croft, and 11-year-old Dylan-Jorge with the late George Kay – added in the caption, ‘Don’t have a fella, but done it all alone before – why change it now?’
While some of her followers were supportive of the news, others warned Kerry against making a rash decision. ‘NO YOU DON’T,’ exclaimed one, while another added, ‘You’re blessed with the children you have, plus they’re all growing up and you’re glowing up.’
But despite the words of advice from her loyal supporters, a source tells Closer that she’s hoping to get pregnant at around the same time as pal Katie, who has children Harvey, 23, with Dwight Yorke, Junior, 19, and Princess, 17, with ex-husband Peter Andre and Jett, 11, and 10-year-old Bunny with third husband Kieran Hayler.

‘Both Katie and Kerry have said they want another child, so they’ve made a pact to be pregnant together, saying it would make a great reality show,’ our insider says. ‘Both want to show how they are not getting old and they see babies as the ultimate age-defying statement.
‘Pals think Kerry’s in love with the idea of another baby, not the practicality of actually becoming a mum again. They think she should wait for a grandchild. But Kerry says before anything else, she’s a mother – it’s her greatest achievement by far, and she could give a child so much more stability now.’
Kerry has been single since her six-year relationship with fiancé Ryan Mahoney ended in November. She is set to star on Celebs Go Dating for a second time, but revealed on celeb therapy podcast The Speakmans last month, ‘I want to just be in a relationship with myself – for at least 12 months.’
It’s not the first time Kerry has opened up about becoming a mum again. Last August, she revealed a hospital scan showed she ‘still has all her follicles’, explaining, ‘[That means] I could have another baby. I don’t think I would have another one, but Ryan keeps changing his mind! If he wants another one then that’s fine, but we need to get a move on.’

Meanwhile, best pal Katie, 47 – who has been dating MAFS star JJ Slater since February last year – has also made no secret of her plans for baby number six. Speaking to Paul C Brunson on his We Need To Talk podcast, she recently revealed that she has egg donors lined up from women who look like her.
It came after she underwent IVF treatment with her now-ex boyfriend Carl Woods in 2023. The pair documented their journey in Channel 4 documentary, Katie Price: Making Babies, in which Katie was told she had a ‘less than 1%’ chance of falling pregnant using her own eggs.
And our source says that Katie is now keen to use her knowledge of the process to help Kerry. They continue, ‘With no man currently on the horizon, Kerry would consider a donor. Katie’s told her lots about places she knows and fertility experts – she has them all on speed dial. Kerry believes older mums make the best mums. With all the stress that she’s been through, she’d put all her love into a child.’
Since meeting on I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! in 2004, Katie and Kerry have been through their fair share of ups and downs. Following her break up from personal trainer Ryan, Kerry revealed on her Instagram Stories, ‘I want to say thank you to Katie because she has been an absolute lifesaver through all of this heartbreak and it’s been a massive distraction for me.’ Katie replied, ‘I’m so proud of you and your strength. We have so much to look forward to as a duo.’

Last year, Katie told Closer of their friendship, ‘We might not see each other all the time, but we’re always there for each other. We’ve gone through so much together.’
And it’s not just the mums who are close pals, as their teen daughters Princess and Heidi also have a strong bond. Four years ago, Kerry shared, ‘Princess and my Heidi have been best friends for years because me and Kate were both pregnant at the same time with them.’
Now Kerry and Katie want to recreate that relationship with future offspring. Our insider adds, ‘Kerry believes that her body is still ripe to conceive. She says age is just a number. Her health is better now than when she was in her twenties – she’s never been in better shape.’
